BIM’s Chairman & Managing Director:
Funding 29 Industrial Projects in Sistan and Baluchestan Province

BIM’s chairman and managing director said, ‘Since the inauguration of “the Government of Prudence and Hope” in 2013, 29 SME industrial projects with a value of about 3 thousand billion Tomans have been funded by BIM in Sistan and Baluchestan Province.’
According to BIM’s Information Center, Hossein Mehri, who spoke in the ceremony of exploiting the new BIM’s building in Zahedan, added, ‘The implementation of these projects has resulted in the creation of 2,140 job opportunities for people in the province.’
He continued, ‘Given the numerous economic capacities of Sistan and Baluchestan in the field of industry and mine, BIM is fully prepared for the financing Mining projects.’
BIM’s chairman and managing director stated, ‘Since Sistan and Baluchestan possesses  the ninth rank in terms of mineral resources and mineral variety, it is essential that these capacities be identified and advertised more than before, in order to attract investors to the province.’
Mentioning accessibility to Afghanistan and Pakistan markets, owning the only oceanic port of the country , and the presence of young and empowered forces as other capacities of Sistan and Baluchestan, he added, ‘These capacities could lead to the development of industry and mining in this province.’
With regard to the fact that the identification of capabilities and mineral capacities and contribution to the creation of industry and mine value chain is among other requirements in Sistan and Baluchestan, Mehri said, ‘BIM is ready to provide support for the provincial investors in these fields.’
He also enumerated financing semi-finished projects, fault detection and diagnosis in troubled industrial units and funding export-oriented projects generating employment as BIM priorities in Sistan and Baluchestan.
